Apryl then appeared on American Idol, but failed to get there. Apryl was also a contestant on Making the Band but it did not work for her. Apryl also appeared on the show Search For The Next Doll where she auditioned to be a part of the new Pussycat Dolls. Apryl was not selected because she didn't impress the panel of judges. In the following days, she was introduced to one of the artists who was on tour as a back singer. They became friends and opted to be a part of the Vh1 famous TV show Hollywood which led to her being among the first eight cast members. The first season of the show, Megaa and her husband were pregnant with their son. Season 2 investigates her career anxiety and frustrations as she enjoys newfound success. Omarion was touring and Apryl didn't join him for the reunion tape. Apryl disclosed on December 7, 2015 that she and Omarion had been sacked from the show. The pair would not take part in the next season. Apryl also welcomed their daughter A'mei-Kasuko Grandberry in March 7th, 2016. After four months, Apryl and Omarion have announced their split. Apryl appeared on the show in season 4, meeting with Lil' Fizz to discuss possible B2K reunion. Apryl is back on the series in Season 6, which documents her custody disputes with Omarion in addition to the media's speculation and scrutiny of her relationship to Lil' Fizz. The two admit that they're romantically connected, leading Moniece as well as the rest of the actors into contention.
