Apryl was also rejected from Making the Band. Apryl participated in the show Search For The Next Doll when she tried to audition for a part of the recently formed Pussycat Dolls. Not being able to impress to the judges, Apryl wasn't selected. The singer met an established artist, and toured as a backup performer. They decided to join the first cast of Vh1's popular series Hollywood. The first season chronicles the birth and pregnancies of their son Megaa Omari, who was born on the same day. The second season explores the frustrations in her profession and struggles with insecurity associated with her recent success. Omarion was traveling and Apryl did not join his reunion for tape. On the 7th of December in 2015, Apryl informed the pair that they had left the show, and they wouldn't be back for the following season. On March 7 2016 Apryl welcomed their daughter A'mei Kazuko Grandberry. The baby was born four months later. Apryl and Omarion broke up. Apryl appeared as a special guests in the season's fourth, meeting Lil' Fizz and discussing the possibility of a B2K reunion. Apryl makes a return to the show in Season 6, which chronicles her custody disputes with Omarion as well as questions from the media and speculation about her relationship in relationship with Lil' Fizz. During the season when the couple admits that they have a romantic relationship, putting her into conflict with Moniece and the others on the cast.
