Lita Rossana Ford was a British-born American singer, guitarist as well as music writer. The latter half of the 1970s she was the guitarist in the hard rocking all-girl band The Runaways. The band did not enjoy any fans within the United States. However, their fame grew internationally and especially in Japan. Following the split of the group in 1979 Ford embarked upon a successful solo career with heavy metal. The release of Black in 1995 was followed by a 15-year wait for 'Wicked Wonderland. The album "Time Capsule" was released by her in 2016. Guitar Player Magazine awarded her the award of a Certified Guitar Legend.
